On behalf of Legal Week, and principal sponsor EY, I am delighted to invite you to join us at the Commercial Litigation & Arbitration Forum 2014, taking place on the 6th of November at the Waldorf Hilton, Aldwych, London.
With the formidable combination of Guy Pendell, CMS, and Tim Parkes, Herbert Smith Freehills, at the helm as co-chairmen, this year's programme is bigger and better than ever before.
The addition of arbitration, to what was formerly the Commercial Litigation Forum, reflects the increasing popularity of arbitration and will provide you with a more complete understanding of dispute resolution trends and developments. Our new multi-stream approach reflects the wide range of jurisdictions that our delegates represent, and the variety and complexity of the challenges that are now an everyday part of commercial dispute resolution.
This year we welcome The Rt Hon the Lady Justice Gloster, DBE, as our opening keynote speaker, on the topic of "Litigators and arbitrators - do they remain useful business tools in 21st century global dispute resolution?". We are also delighted to have with us Stephen Jagusch, global chair of the international arbitration practice at Quinn Emanuel, as our afternoon keynote speaker. Stephen will be discussing 'judges as arbitrators - the cursed and the cure?'.
Our day closes with our ‘Meet the Speakers' drinks reception, providing you with the opportunity to network with peers old and new. From general counsel to Law Lords, the Commercial Litigation & Arbitration Forum attracts speakers and delegates from all walks of dispute resolution life.
